Needless to say, I would never consider going back here, nor would I suggest anyone would either. As a note to the woman in the office. Keep treating your customers like you treated me, and apparently other customers as well, judging by other reviews, and you will find out word will get out and you will start losing customers, just like you lost me. Just remember, the customers keep you in business and treating customers like this will cost you your business. You don't ever get too high up that you don't get knocked back down and businesses fail every day and treating people like you do and talking to people like you do, could very possibly cost you customers and business going forward. And then you might not have that business that you have now if your customers start leaving. Keep that in mind.
You know, I work in the accounting field and work with numbers every day and cannot figure how 2 weeks of service goes from 5.75 per week to 14.00 per week. Obviously, there comes a time when people need to retire and needless to say, this one here should either retire or learn how to treat customers with respect. Pretty sad to choose local business to try to support your local small business and be treated like this. I guess it goes to show you, you can't always choose small business. This woman needs a lesson in treating customers with respect and dignity and not talking down her nose to customers like this.
They are an ok company.
We've decided to give Sweetheimer a try. The gal in their office, VERY PROFESSIONAL!!! She was upfront about their service. What we can expect from them. And that they work holidays. And, unlike our other HORRIFIC service, they will pick up all of the trash. Even if the trash falls on the ground! Our old one, they leave it there. And don't collect all of the trash. Sweetheimer said that that's not like them. They'll take care of ALL of the garbage. And even told me that they leave their building at 7:00 am. So, we're very hopeful. They even brought our new (and yes, it's a new one) cart out the next day as they promised. The driver even welcomed me to their service when I went out to get the new cart! That's the kind of customer service we LOVE!!! For anyone considering Advanced Disposal, BEWARE!!! They don't pick up all of your trash! They skip weeks when they don't have enough drivers to run your route! Then they try to charge you for the extra trash that accumulates from them not picking up the week prior to that! And that's if they pick up the trash at all! We had them for almost 10 years. Had nothing but problems. They don't pick up trash on holidays. Not like Sweetheimer. They do except for Christmas and New Years Day. AD doesn't pick up the day after the holiday. Lots of times they wait until the following week. And yet, you pay for the week(s) they don't pick up. Won't have to worry about that anymore.
Run for your life with these people.
We had picked up Sweetheimer Trash about a year and a half ago for our service. As time progressed, we realized that we was only throwing away about a small grocery sack of trash a week and could not justify the cost any longer. I called and talked to her about cancelling the service and boy oh boy, did the attitude ever show through in a second's notice. She was absolutely rude and short with me because I had been debating cancelling the service. Then I cancelled on the day before the service ended and she then turns around and charges me for a month of pickup service that I only had for 2 weeks and my weekly pickup went from 5.75 per week or 23.00 per month for a 69.00 per quarter pickup rate to 28.00 for 2 weeks of trash pickup because they did not come and pick the can up. Then I ask for a detailed analysis of the charges and as if she could have been any ruder, the real rudeness came out.
The staff is friendly and we went with them over the competition because of that. Also we liked that they will take any trash not just the trash that fits in the provided can.
Here's the best part... ready for this.... our dumpster was pulled from our business location without any notification.. so now our clients and tenants have no place put put their trash. Is that customer service or what. I guess they must have been too busy to call us.
The lady at the front desk is absolutely the most unprofessional professional dealing I have ever had. She is condescending, rude, and just flat out unprofessional.
As a paying customer I will never use these guys agsin, nor will I suggest them to anyone. We were treated horribly for things we didn't even know was going on or that we were doing wrong.
I have to say it's been a while sinse I have been treated this poorly as a customer. We called about an issue and from the beginning the lady at the desk was condescending and uninviting. We are a small local business and have people that rely on having a place to put their trash. We went local to support local, but apparently the lady at the front desk is too busy for us. She made it VERY clear about that. Apparently they have been tolerating as customers. But we were unaware of any issue. There were many notes in the computer about us. Interesting point we had no idea about these issues because she was to busy to notify us. So how are we suppose to know or correct things if you don't know!
